Ihttifal Falasteen: A Celebration of Palestinian Culture
FPC is honored to partner with PCRF (Palestinian’s Children Relief Fund) in hosting Ihttifal Falasteen, a celebration of Palestinian culture - to learn, engage, and experience. All are welcome! Whether this is your first foray into the rich history of Palestine or you are an active member of the community, we encourage all to attend. Vendors will include art, food, clothing, accessories and more. All proceeds raised will benefit PCRF.
Seeds of Revolution: A Nakba Commemoration
This year marks the 76th anniversary of the mass displacement of Palestinians, known as “the Nakba” or “the Catastrophe”.
Join Free Palestine Charleston and Flowers for Palestine for a Paper Flower Art Build in reverence of the Palestinian lives lost. The art workshop will include demonstrations of various methods to create blossoms from paper that will be used in an upcoming exhibition honoring the Palestinian liberation struggle. The names of Palestinian martyrs will be incorporated in the installation. No experience required. All materials will be provided. This is a family-friendly event.

Stand Up for Palestine Rally
Join FPC and like-minded community members in kicking off Free Palestine Charleston’s Week of Action with a rally at Marion Square Park in downtown Charleston.
This Mother’s Day in Gaza, Palestinian mothers have lost over 13,000 children to the genocide and at least 17,000 children are orphaned.
